WHAT ARE THE NEURODAYS ?

NeuroDays is an annual scientific event first organized by a new team each year of neuroscience PhD students from Aix-Marseille University, in collaboration with NeuroSchool.

Whether you're a PhD student, a member of NeuroMarseille*NeuroSchool, or simply part of the broader neuroscience community, NeuroDays 2025 is for you!

Over the course of two days, the event brings together researchers, early-career scientists, and students for conferences, workshops, and discussions around a theme chosen by the organizing team.

Join us for an enriching experience—whether you're looking to advance your research or just eager to dive deeper into scientific culture!

NeuroDays 2025: Exploring Neural Interfaces and Digital Minds

Screenshot_2025_10_09_at_18.28._54.png

This year, NeuroDays 2025 will dive into the cutting-edge world of neurotechnologies, focusing on neural interfacesbrain-computer communication, and the growing field of digital minds. The event will center around four key themes: the science behind brain-machine interfaces, the therapeutic and enhancement potential of neurotechnologies, ethical and societal implications, and the future of human–machine integration.

The boundary between brain and machine is becoming increasingly porous. Once the realm of science fiction, direct communication between neurons and computers is now a tangible reality—with applications ranging from restoring lost functions to expanding cognitive capabilities.

How do we interface with the brain? What are the promises—and perils—of decoding neural activity? Could artificial systems one day emulate human consciousness, or even merge with it?

These questions sit at the heart of today’s most ambitious neuroscientific challenges. As we move toward an era of augmented minds and digitally extended selves, it’s time to reflect on where the science stands—and where it might take us.

Curious to learn more? Join us at NeuroDays 2025 for two days of thought-provoking talks, hands-on workshops, and lively discussions.
Whether you're a neuroscientist, a student, or simply fascinated by the future of the brain, you won’t want to miss it.

Practical Information

🧠 PhD students can validate up to 12 training hours by attending both full days of the event.
Those who present their research to the scientific community (through a poster or a talk) will receive 15 hours.

👉 Head to the Registration section to submit your contribution — all topics are welcome, as long as the presentation is accessible to a broad audience!

🎁 And of course... prizes will be awarded to the best presentations!

📅 Dates: November 27 & 28, 2025
📍 Location: Hexagone, Luminy
🎯 Target audience: Students, researchers from AMU (and beyond!)
